A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after police were called to a property in Fairfax Avenue, west Hull, yesterday.
Two men, aged 18 and 24, have also been arrested. All three are in custody.
A spokesman for Humberside Police said: "At 12.18pm yesterday, police were called in relation to a disturbed burglary in Fairfax Avenue, Hull.
"The homeowner reported that an offender, or offenders, had forced entry into the property via a back door before being disturbed by the homeowner. They then ran off.
"They were quickly located and arrested on suspicion of burglary."
