Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Bridlington. The 25-year-old woman was walking alone in Windsor Crescent when she was approached by two men and asked for a cigarette. When she refused, she was pushed to the ground and banged her head on a wall. The men then allegedly went through her pockets and touched her indecently. She screamed and they ran off. Police have today released details of the assault, which happened at about 6.30pm on Boxing Day. A spokesman for Humberside Police said: "Nothing was stolen and the woman attended Bridlington Hospital for treatment to a minor head injury." The men are described as white, between 17 and 18, and were both slim and about 5ft 7in tall. They were wearing dark tracksuits and spoke with West Yorkshire accents. Anyone with information is asked to call Humberside Police on 101, quoting crime number 2088600. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
