A man has been charged by police after a PCSO was allegedly assaulted in Penthurst Avenue on Saturday.
The 28-year-old was approached by the officer because he was acting in a drunken manner at about 10.20pm. After he was confronted, it is alleged he punched the PCSO in the stomach and face.
He was arrested and charged with assault.
He will appear at Beverley Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, January 7.
