Hull KR beat Hull FC 28-18 after a very entertaining friendly at the KC Stadium.
Omari Caro opened the scoring for the Robins after gathering Michael Dobson's kick to the right hand corner.
Rovers extended their lead in the 24th minute when Caro palmed the ball back for Craig Hall to score. Dobson converted for a 10-0 lead.
Cory Paterson scored KR's third try in front of the visiting fans on the half hour mark with Dobson converting.
Hull got on the scoreboard three minutes later when Tom Briscoe chased his own kick down the left hand touchline to beat Greg Eden. Daniel Holdsworth converted to make it 16-6 to Rovers.
But Rovers finished the first half on a high with Greg Eden taking Craig Hall's pass one handed to score near the posts.
Dobson's conversion made it 22-6 at the break.
Ben Galea scored against his former team on the hour mark with Daniel Holdsworth adding the extras.
Hull closed the gap to 22-18 when Jason Crookes went through near the posts for Holdsworth to convert with ease.
But Rovers had the final say with Greg Eden scoring his second try of the match nine minutes remaining - Lincoln Withers conversion being the final score of the game.
