The Villagers went down 3-1 at the Eon Visual Media Stadium to drop to sixth in Conference North, but Heath is confident his side can return to winning ways tonight at third-placed Chorley.
Heath expects Garry Flitcroft's side to be pushing for promotion this season, but hopes his team can get their promotion push back on track after being derailed by Worcester and Solihull in their last two matches.
"Chorley will be up and around the top this season," Heath told the Mail.
"It won't be easy going to Victory Park tonight, but we have to make sure we do things right.
"It's not good losing any game, but I'm being philosophical about it.
"We didn't play well in the first half against Solihull, but we did much better when we changed formation from 3-5-2 to 4-4-2.
"We're only playing in patches at the moment, but we are still where we want to be in the table."
Ferriby have taken 13 points from their first seven games, the same return as last season when they finished second to AFC Telford, but lost out in the first round of the play-offs to Guiseley.
Heath went on record before the season started that the competition is greater than ever before and results are proving that.
But he has no reason to worry, despite expectation levels being higher now than ever before because of their run to second last season.
"This league is much better than it has ever been," Heath said.
"There is more competition and that makes it a lot closer.
"We've not taken any points from our last two matches, but that's no cause for concern.
"People get carried away when you lose back-to-back games, but we'll just dust ourselves down and try to win our next one."
It's still early in the season, but last season's leading goal-scorer Nathan Jarman has only one goal to his name coming in the 2-2 draw at home to Gloucester.
However, Heath knows it's only a matter of time before Jarman rediscovers his goalscoring form.
"I'm not concerned about Nathan's lack of goals," Heath said.
"He is playing really well and he did hit the post on Saturday.
"I've been really impressed with his performances and desire and the goals will come, hopefully tonight."
