With attention focused on City's expected signing of Abel Hernandez it is claimed the Tigers were also trying for a surprise raid on West Ham, for powerful Senegalese star Diame, 27,

HULL City look to be out of the race for Iran star Ehsan Hajsafi, according to local media.
Fulham are winning the battle for the 24-year-old's signature after signalling their interest around the time of the 2014 World Cup.
The Tigers were linked with Hajsafi at around the same time, but it's the Cottagers who have the upper hand.
Hajsafi has more than 60 caps for his country and can play at left-back or in midfield.

The football club has announced that The Housemartin's classic Caravan Of Love will be played shortly before kick-off.
The club made the announcement yesterday on their Twitter account.
The club said: "We're going to trial playing Caravan Of Love by The Housemartins in the moments before kick-off on Thursday.
"We'll see how it is received on the night, but we'd also like your pre-match thoughts on here."
