WHILST on his journey down South, Andy Robertson can begin dreaming of Premier League football as he looks to complete his £3m move to the Tigers later. Although not expected to be formally unveiled as a City player until tomorrow, Robertson looks set to join the ranks at the KC Stadium swiftly. The 20-year-old was left out of the friendly 1-0 victory at Hibernian as a precaution but was with the Dundee United fans at Easter Road yesterday to take in the game. Robertson's boss Jackie McNamara wished the defender well as he conceded there would be no good news for Dundee fans due to the exit of their prized asset. "Andrew's going down to speak to them. The two clubs have agreed a fee, so we'll find out in the next couple of days whether it's either a yes or no – hopefully it's a no," he told the Daily Record. "We'll wait and see. It's all down to Andrew and his family, the decision he makes. He's got to speak about personal terms, his future. Selfishly, I hope he decides to stay another year but sometimes these things are outside your control. "It's a fantastic story. A year ago he came in with his parents, playing part-time football. "What's happened to him up to now – bids of crazy money, Young Player of the Year, Scotland regular – it's a great message to any young kid who has been rejected."Jenkinson deal confirmed? RUMOURS were rife over the weekend that Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson was on Hull City's radar - but one website has claimed that the deal is already complete.Goal.com say the Gunners and the Tigers have agreed a £3m fee for the 22-year-old after he was told he has no future at the Emirates Stadium. Although West Ham are said to be Jenkinson's preferred destination to remain in the capital, European football looks set to sway Jenkinson's decision towards the KC Stadium.Oxley proving a show-stopper for Hibs Meanwhile, eyes were placed on another Tiger at the Hibs v Dundee game yesterday, with trialist keeper Mark Oxley in goal for the hosts– and he could be Hibs' Mr. Right. Although Oxley was beaten by Chris Erksine's curling shot, the Sheffield-born stopper is said to have looked comfortable amongst the Hibs ranks, playing the whole 90 minutes. The 23-year-old today completed a six-month loan move to Hibs, and new boss Alan Stubbs is impressed with his new keeper. "I said all along I would get a keeper in place, it was just a matter of getting the right one. I feel as if I've got the right one," he told the Daily Record. The Tigers seem to be highly thought of in Scotland, with deals for their players in and out of the KC Stadium proving fruitful.Maguire bid accepted – finally some good news AND finally, Hull City fans are on course for a double signing delight today after the Tigers' bid for defender Harry Maguire was accepted by Sheffield United. City have finally broken the Blades' resistance on a deal – and just days ago, Steve Bruce claimed to have walked away from a potential transfer. For the full developing story, click here.
