COULD Curtis Davies go from being a Tiger to an Eagle? We very much doubt it, but The Mirror is reporting Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis is interested in signing City's skipper after missing out on Cardiff City's captain Steven Caulker. Caulker signed for QPR on Monday for £8m, and Pulis has reacted quickly by setting his sights elsewhere. Tigers fans can breathe easy – for now – as Davies still has two years on his contract and is expected to be offered a new and improved deal after leading the Tigers to the FA Cup final, in which he scored. City supporters will hope Davies commits his future to the Tigers and helps keep them in the Premier League for a third successive season.Melbourne interested in Koren THE next chapter of Robert Koren's career could take him to Australia where Melbourne City are reportedly interested in signing the former Tigers skipper. Melbourne City are owned by Premier League champions Manchester City. Koren left the KC Stadium at the end of last season where he found himself a bit-part player as Steve Bruce's side reached the FA Cup final and managed to stay in the Premier League. The Slovenian scored three goals in 26 appearances last season many of which came from the bench. His last goal came in the 2-1 FA Cup fifth round replay with Brighton. If the deal goes ahead, Koren will be lining up with Damien Duff and David Villa, who is on loan from New York City. It's a far cry from East Yorkshire.Snodgrass hit for six HULL City will hope their new signing Robert Snodgrass takes care when driving to training. The Scottish international was charged with speeding and failing to give information to police after being stopped while allegedly driving his BMW at 44 mph in a 30 mph limit in Norwich last November. The charge of speeding was dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service but the second charge was proved in his absence. Snodgrass, 26, will have to pay a total of £745 in a £600 fine, £85 court costs and £60 victim surcharge, as well as seeing six points added to his previously clean licence. Hopefully, he can help City get off to a fast start in the Premier League with six points from their first two matches.Next generation of Biyik family heading to Tigers? REMEMBER the Biyik family from Italia 1990? Francois Omam-Biyik leapt 20 feet (according to legend) to head a sensational winner for Cameroon past Nery Pumpido to stun reigning World Champions Argentina in the opening game of the tournament. Francois' brother Andre Kana-Biyik was one of two Cameroon players to be sent off in the game. Well, the next generation of the Biyik family could be making his way to the KC Stadium. Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik is son of Andre and nephew of Francois and is currently playing for Rennes. City are interested in the centre half as he waits for developments with Tottenham's Michael Dawson and Sheffield United's Harry Maguire. For more on this story, click here.
