Everything from emotive drama to comedy, music and show-stopping improvisations are on the bill as Hull Truck announces its new season line-up.
The Ferensway theatre has revealed an eclectic mix of cutting-edge drama and returning old favourites for autumn.
Among the highlights is Wet House, an acclaimed new show by Geordie playwright Paddy Campbell set in a boozy homeless hostel, in October, and the return of John Godber with a production of his comedy On The Piste in November.
Dangerousrecords - Beyonce - Me, Myself And I on MUZU.TV.
Former artistic director Godber will take part in a question and answer session with the current holder of the post, Mark Babych, before the debut of his latest play Right, a timely piece about media hysteria, which stars his daughter Martha Godber.
Mark Babych, who will also be directing a version of Cinderella for the theatre's annual Christmas show, said there is lots to look forward to in the forthcoming season.
He said: "We are delighted to present a new season of thrilling theatre, great music and gifted comedians.
"With a bold and daring interpretation of an American classic in A Streetcar Named Desire, to Mike Kenny's delightful version of Cinderella, with live music from a cast of actor-musicians and a rabble of adorable rats, we have a variety of great nights in store.
"This year's Christmas show will be magical enough for small princesses, spirited enough for those who prefer Frozen to Snow White, and with enough energy for kids and adults who love action. We hope you'll bring the whole family and join us for a truly festive treat.
"And a visit from the John Godber Company is always a welcome event. Entertaining Hull audiences for thirty years, John's work continues to delight with his unique observation and gift for comedy."
Other shows to look out for this autumn include a visit from top improvisation comedy troupe The Showstoppers, Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, and a "stunning piece of visual theatre" called That Is All You Need To Know, which tells the story of Bletchley Park and men and the women who cracked the Enigma Code during the Second World War.
Visiting Truck's smaller Studio space will be top rising stand-up Luisa Omielan, who will bring her show What Would Beyoncé do? and My Name Is ... a play about love across conflicted families in 1980s Glasgow.
Mr Babych said Hull Truck's desire to get increasingly involved in the community would continue with a series of workshops and events.
He said: "The fun continues off stage, so come along to our Discover activities to get closer to the work being performed, develop your theatre-making skills at our Grow workshops, or explore your creativity in fun and supportive ways through our inspiring Engagement and Learning programme.
