TICKTON'S Kyle Edmund has exited Wimbledon at the first round stage for the second time in a week.
Edmund partnered Sergiy Stakhovsky in today's Men's Doubles, but could not progress against the pairing of Roberto Bautista Agut and Igor Sijsling.
Although Edmund and his Ukraine partner won the first set 6-4, that was as good as it got.
In the next three sets, their rivals won 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to advance into the next round and leave Edmund to again reflect on what has proved to be a learning curve.
Still only 19, it is only the second time he has been to SW19 to compete in the men's competition and he is expected to improve on his displays in future years.
