A Labour politician who believes he was brought up by aliens will speak in Hull on Wednesday. Simon Parkes, of Whitby Town Council, has been invited by Hull Truth Juice to tell his story.
He believes his real mother is a 9ft tall alien with eight fingers and that he is half-reptile. He claims he was brought up by two human parents but that he has alien parents too.
Organiser, Kirsty Mackinder, said: "He a very interesting person. Firstly, he is a labour councillor, but then he believes he is half-reptile and that he was brought up by a 9ft alien.
"It sounds a bit out there, but he is a really lovely bloke and last time he came we had a really good response."
There are Truth Juice groups across the country, formed to give people an alternative view on various issues and topics.
Mr Parkes will speak at the New Walton Street Club in New Walton Street, Hull, tomorrow from 7pm.
Kirsty said: "We offer a platform for people with alternative views to come to Hull and offer a different perspective."
