HULL Zingari under-11s A team made it six victories this season with a 76-run win over Hessle.
The hosts won the toss and inserted Zingari, whose Sam Elstone hit a quick 25 before his compulsory retirement.
Zingari reached 152-1 with further contributions from Luke Riley, who was retired on 26, Andrey Sinclair (13) and Ben Doyle (10 not out).
Elstone has an average of 95 in all Zingari age-group teams.
Owen Miller, with 18, led Hessle's reply but Elstone (3-2 in his two overs), Michael O'Callaghan (2-6) together with wickets for Riley and Tommy Atkinson, two catches for Omar Majid plus two run-outs saw the home side, who had only 10 players, bowled out for 76 in 17 overs.
THE under-15s squad has had a tremendous season, undefeated in nine games at the moment and holders of the East Yorkshire Cup after beating Beverley Town by seven wickets in an excellent game of cricket in the final.
Zingari have won the trophy three times previously in 2000, 2003 and 2011.
THE under-9s softball team have won six and lost four so far this season under ECB qualified coach Roger Wilson and he is delighted with the squad's development.
THE under-13s, lacking five regulars, suffered a bitter disappointment in the East Yorkshire cup semi-final losing to South Holderness by 30 runs.
The Hedon-based side got off to a flying start from Liam Colcough (25 not out retired) and Luke Ingram (25 not out retired) before Alex Thompson (2-7) and Charlie Rawlins (1-12) put the brakes on, together with Amrit Cassim and Angus Brocklesby (20 runs off their six overs) and South Holderness finished on 104-4, helped by 15 extras from wides or no balls.
Zingari's openers made a steady start with Albie Collier taking the eye with a confident 25 not out retired before a mid-order hat-trick, all bowled, from Harry Giles, put the visitors in control.
Adam Palmer (15) and Marcus Dewhurst (16 not out) looked like they might have pulled off an unlikely victory before Adam was splendidly caught on the boundary by Colcough and Zingari finished on 74-7.
THE under-13s B side beat Welton by 25 runs.
Albie Collier (24 not out retired) and Sam Elstone (15 not out retired) top scored in Zingari's score of 125-4 and Sam completed 300 runs for the season with a remarkable average of 100.
Josh Wilcox took 2-12 in his two overs.
Welton replied with 100-6 with Thomas Wilcox (25 not out retired) and Dominic Kissick (17) batting well and there were wickets for Charlie Rawlins, Angus Brocklesby, Will Atkinson, Alex Thompson, Sam Elstone and one run-out by Marcus Dewhurst.
HULL Zingari had over 200 attend their Ashes Open Day.
Zingari, Beverley, Welton, Patrington, Hull and Hornsea took part in an under-9s softball competition and the hosts beat Hull and Hornsea in their two games.
