SHE was in labour as Kate Middleton gave birth to the royal baby.
And Sara Mathison, 37, could not have been more pleased to welcome her baby boy to the world on the same day as the new prince.
It came as a shock to Sarah and husband Daniel, 37, when her waters broke and she ended up giving birth on her bathroom floor at home near Hornsea.
Their little bundle of joy was born at 5.12pm, less than an hour after Kate gave birth, weighing 7lb 6oz.
Sara said: "I wasn't in any pain after my waters broke and was sent home but then I started to struggle and it all happened fast.
"We phoned an ambulance and it got there in time but we definitely weren't expecting that to happen to us.
"We have some ideas for a name but they are ones which might be used for the royal baby, so we're going to wait and see.
"My due date was July 23 so I was pleased when I realised I'd given birth on the same day as Kate Middleton."
