HULL KR currently have four potential half-back targets to replace the departing Michael Dobson, chairman Neil Hudgell has revealed. The Red and Whites have stepped up their recruitment and retention for 2014 in recent weeks, announcing the signing of NRL prop Michael Weyman last week. Hudgell would not comment when asked if Newcastle forward Neville Costigan is to be the next new addition announced as expected, but did say chief executive Mike Smith is in Australia on a half-back search, and that another signing will be announced in the next few days. "Mike Smith is out in Australia and we are looking at four possible half-backs," Hudgell said. "Michael Weyman fits in with what we have been saying in terms of us wanting to bring in players that will improve the squad next season. "I have heard Costigan's name being mentioned and he is a quality player, but we don't comment on any possible signings until they are complete as we don't want other sides coming in late on. "What I can say is that there should be another signing announced in the coming days." One player who appears to have played his final game for the Robins is prop Ryan O'Hara, with coach Craig Sandercock admitting he will not play at all this season, the last of his current deal.
