HULL KR fell to a first defeat in six Super League outings as Challenge Cup semi-finalists Warrington proved too strong and ran out convincing 34-6 winners. It made it eight wins in a row for Warrington - who face Hull FC next weekend as they look to make Wembley - as an impressive second-half display proved too much for the Robins to handle. Rovers would have leapfrogged Catalan into fifth spot in Super League had pulled off a victory, something that still looked a possibility at half-time with Warrington fortunate to be 12-6 ahead through from tries from Brett Hodgson and Mike Cooper, with Jordan Cox replying for Rovers. But the Wolves took the game away from their opponents after the break with four unanswered touchdowns, two from Ben Currie and others from Chris Riley and Michael Monaghan, to secure the victory. Hodgson also finished with four goals to go with his opening try.
