Liam Rosenior has been handed a new deal at Hull City but Jay Simpson has been released.
Paul McShane and goalkeeper Mark Oxley have also been offered a chance to extend their stays at the KC, the club confirmed today as it announced its retained list.
Former Arsenal striker Simpson is one of 12 players released by the Tigers.
As expected, veteran Andy Dawson and midfielders Seyi Olofinjana and Paul McKenna will leave, along with Sonny Bradley, Lewis Clarkson, Mark Cullen, Jamie Devitt, Kealan Dillon, Daniel East, Daniel Emerton, Francis McCaffrey.
In a statement, Hull City said: "We would like to thank the following for their services, whilst wishing them every success in the future."
As reported, Abdoulaye Faye's contract has been automatically extended for a further year.
Six academy players have been given professional deals. They are Daniel Chambers, Benjamin Clappison, Joseph Cracknell, Matthew Dixon, Paul McElroy and Sam Topliss, while Thomas Davie, Bradley Ricketts and Joel Sutton have been released.
