Police are warning people to be careful after reports of a skimming device being fitted to cash machines in the George Street/Jameson Street area of the with centre
Bank irregularities were reported to have happened between 10pm last Saturday and 7pm on Wednesday.
Card skimming or card cloning devices are used by fraudsters to capture credit and debit card details from unsuspecting users at cash points, ticket machines and retail outlets.
Anyone who has experienced problems obtaining money from city centre machines should contact their branch.
