A pregnant women has been subjected to an indecent assault in a supermarket car park.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the assault which happened at around 11.30pm on Wednesday, April 3 in the Asda car park on Hessle Road.
The victim was returning to her car from the store when she was approached by a man who inappropriately touched her before she managed to get into her vehicle.
The man pursued the woman as she got into her car but was pulled away by another person.
The suspect is described as white, 6ft tall with short mousey blonde hair, in his mid to late 20s, clean shaven and spoke with a local accent
Police are appealing for the member of the public who intervened to come forward as well as anyone else who may have information by calling 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
