Police are hunting a would-be thief who smashed his way into a Hull car dealership in the early hours of the morning.
The man smashed a hole through a glass door of the building at Paragon House, Citadel Trading Park, in east Hull just after 2am on Saturday morning.
He then smashed the showroom window before entering the dealership in an attempt to steal before the alarm sounded and he ran off empty-handed.
The white man, described as 6ft tall and of slim build, was wearing a hoody with the hood up and a baseball cap underneath and left in the direction of Garrison Road towards Victoria Dock.
