A man is in hospital after overturning a car while being chased by police.
The 28-year-old man was followed after he failed to stop for traffic officers.
He crashed the blue Renault Clio into a road sign near the junction of Springfield Way and Springhead Lane at 12.30am today.
The car then overturned and came to rest on its side. It had been reported as being taken without the owner's consent from Pickering Road, west Hull.
The driver was cut from the car by firefighters and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for minor injuries.
An eyewitness said: "I heard a loud smash and then I saw the car roll over a few times and land on its side."
Witnesses should call Humberside Police on 101.
