Civilian staff at Humberside Police will stage a 24-hour strike on Friday, January 23.
The action will start from 7am and finish at 7am the next day because of a dispute over a proposed 1% pay rise.
Staff members include those who take 999 calls, police community officers, scenes of crime investigators, financial investigators and detention officers.
An initial strike planned for Monday, December 22 was suspended to allow further negotiations between the Unison and staff employers.
Tony Green, assistant secretary for the Humberside Police Unison branch, told the Mail: "We will be striking for 24 hours on Friday, January 23 and this will be followed by a month of action.
"Hopefully, a deal can be reached."
