A man has suffered "life-changing" injuries after an assault outside a property in Bridlington.
The 57-year-old Bridlington man was left with serious head and chest injuries.
Police have today issued an appeal for witnesses after the incident in Great Meadow Road, between 12.30am and 2.30am on Tuesday, January 2.
A spokesman said: "The man was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary for what are thought to be life-changing injuries.
"Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident."
