Police have cordoned off a house in Little Weighton where an elderly woman was found in a "serious condition".
The woman has been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary and police have launched an investigation.
A spokesman for the force said: "Humberside Police received a call just after 8am from the ambulance service reporting they were in attendance in The Close in Little Weighton.
"An elderly woman was found in a serious condition at her home. The woman has been taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.
"At this early stage, we are establishing the circumstances of the incident." Updated 11.45am. More to follow.
