HDM Sport on Facebook HULL City are one of four clubs interested in bringing former Manchester City defender Vedran Corluka back to the Premier League. The ex-Spurs man is currently at Lokomotiv Moscow and is valued at around £4.8m by the Russian club, according to the Sunday Mirror. Corluka signed for Tottenham for £5.5m in June 2012 but is said to now welcome a move back to the English game. "Vedran is excited at the possibility of coming back to England," the tabloid quotes the Croatian's advisor Chris Nathaniel. But the Tigers face a fight from the likes of West Ham, Southampton and Everton for the signature. It's no secret that Steve Bruce is keen for new additions in the January transfer window, with several departures expected.Leicester need new recruits SPEAKING of new recruits, today's opponents Leicester are desperate for fresh blood in January, something not lost on manager Nigel Pearson. The ex-Tigers boss wants to lift his team from the bottom of the table - and could go a long way to doing that with victory at the KC Stadium this afternoon. Pearson insists his players can survive, despite being winless in 13 games, but wants signings in the upcoming transfer window. He told Sportinglife.com: "I recognise we need to try and strengthen in certain areas. The players we already have here will probably benefit from additions to get the best out of here. "The one thing we don't have in abundance is Premier League experience and know how. You can have an opinion of games just by team sheets. We need to supplement what we have – ability, commitment and desire. "We're just missing an ingredient to win points – sticking it in or keeping it out. What we have to do in the mean time is keep going. Results like Spurs test the mental resolve of everyone."Simpson: Three vital league points on offer THREE vital Premier League points are on offer today, and Leicester's defender Danny Simpson realises the significance of today's clash with the Tigers. Talking to the club's official website, the Foxes right-back wants to take maximum reward from their drop rivals. "Three points are three points," Simpson said. "But if you can take three points from a team around you then it is a bonus. "Don't get me wrong it is nice to beat Manchester United, but in this situation to get three points off the teams around you is vital. We need to do that and hopefully we can."Juventus join hunt for Ben ArfaHATEM Ben Arfa's agent has reiterated the Frenchman will have a new club in January after his loan move with Hull City turned sour. The winger is a target for Juventus and several other European clubs, with Newcastle not wanting Ben Arfa back any time soon. Speaking to 20minutes.fr, Ben Arfa's agent Michael Ouzaine said: "There are a lot of clubs interested in him, despite everything that has been said. "He will have a new club in January. That won't be a problem, don't you worry." Hamburg are favourites to sign the 27-year-old, but Juve, Lille, Monaco and Nice are all interested. So have no fear, Tigers fans, you won't be seeing the out-of-favour winger in the famous Black and Amber strip again.Happy Birthday to Huddz AND finally, it's a Happy Birthday to Hull City's Tom Huddlestone, who turns 28 today. However, he won't be taking to the field this afternoon at the KC Stadium as his four-match ban continues to take effect.
