An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Malcolm Wilson, 46, of Greenwood Avenue, Beverley, was conditionally discharged for 12 months for using threatening or abusive language. He was ordered to pay a £15 victim surcharge.Paul Parkes, 27, of Stratton Close, east Hull, was conditionally discharged for 12 months for being in possession of cannabis. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.Robert Rogers, 33, of Vermont Street, west Hull, was fined £75 for using abusive and threatening language and behaviour that was likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.James Arro, 20, of Westbourne Avenue, Hull, was given six points on his driving licence for riding an off-road motorcycle without the correct licence or insurance. He was also fined £600 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.Stefan Campling, 38, of Spaldington, Goole, was given five points on his licence for driving without due care and attention while his licence was expired. He was also fined £73 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Andrew Prestwood, 24, of Bothwell Grove, Greatfield Estate, east Hull, was given three points on his licence for driving without due care and attention. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.James Wharne, 74, of Almond Close, Driffield, was given six points on his licence for driving without due care and attention. He was also fined £153 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £28 victim surcharge.Richard Bucknall, 49, of Wenlock Street, west Hull, was fined £300 for contacting Rhea Gavaghan by text, phone and in person, while under a restraining order. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.Dominic Leighton, 18, of Lee Street, Hull, was conditionally discharged for 12 months for assaulting Simon Mowbray by beating him. He was also ordered to pay £200, £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
