Boxer Luke Campbell showed his true fighting spirit tonight by answering back judge Jason Gardiner on the latest round of Dancing On Ice. The Australian judge, who last week branded Luke a "little weak, feeble boy", continued his insults on tonight's show by saying "in terms of choreographic execution, posture and performance commitment" Luke was "Olympically bad". But it was when he then added: "Did you enjoy that? Then tell your face" that Luke decided enough was enough. The Hull golden boy challenged Jason on his comments, which had been loudly booed by the audience, explaining it was his "game face" for the duel and that the judge had just told the previous couple to make it a proper battle. Luke did get support from ice skater Robin Cousins, who called his performance "strong, powerful and in control", but ultimately lost the round when the judge's voted unanimously to give immunity to Samia Ghadie. It meant the Olympic medallist was then up for the public vote against rugby player Gareth Thomas, MP Oona King, X Factor winner Shayne Ward and comedian Joe Pasquale. Philip Schofield announced Luke was through first, leaving Oona King and Gareth Thomas in the skate off. Luke, who won gold in this year's London Olympics, is gaining celebrity fans every week. After tweets from Kerry Katona last week, this performance saw support tweeted by both Radio 1's Scott Mills and pop band Scouting for Girls.
