UPDATED: County Road North is back open between Priory Road and Bricknell Avenue.
Police had advised motorists to avoid the area after a two-vehicle crash at 11.25am this morning.
The fire service had to cut a female driver out of one of the cars which was on its side, removing the vehicle's rear door and roof.
The casualty was then placed on a spinal board and then taken to hospital by the ambulance service.Updated 3.25pm.
