Have you ever seen the Humber Bridge quite like this? The picture of the estuary shrouded in heavy fog was taken by the crew of the police helicopter Oscar 99 on Sunday.
It was posted on Twitter with the rather understated caption: "Unusual weather at Hessle, East Yorks."
To tip our hat to a classic photograph, we've picked out nine more of our favourite weather pictures taken in Hull and the East Riding over the decades.Scroll through the slideshow above to see all ten photos.
They include incredible scenes of a frozen River Hull, a jet engine being used to blast snow from the Hull-to-Hornsea railway line, and a rainbow lighting up Beverley Minster.
Jane Frisby's photo of a rainbow over Beverley Minster, taken in July 2011, was featured in the Mail's Journal magazine.
