East Yorkshire comedian Lucy Beaumont has had a new series commissioned by BBC Radio 4.
To Hull and Back will star Maureen Lipman, who also hails from the city, and Norman Lovett, and follows a successful pilot in June.
The 2012 BBC Radio New Comedy Award winner tweeted: "Very pleased, I've got a series commissioned for To Hull and Back starring Maureen Lipman and Norman Lovett on BBC Radio 4 aired next year."
Lucy, 30, has also appeared regularly on shows such as BBC3's Live At The Electric.
In August her latest stand-up show, We Can Twerk This Out, was nominated for the top comedy prize at the Edinburgh Festival.
Some critics have described the Hull comedian as the new Victoria Wood.
It emerged last month she was engaged to 8 Out of 10 Cats team captain Jon Richardson.
