A bus company taking over the management of Hull's Park and Ride say commuters can expect free onboard wi-fi from next week.
In a move that is expected to save Hull City Council about £200,000 each year, Stagecoach will take the reins from the local authority.
Bosses say frequent buses will depart the Priory Park site for the city centre, via Hull Royal Infirmary, between 7am and 6.35pm on weekdays.
Travelling in the opposite direction, buses will collect passengers in Carr Lane, Alfred Gelder Street, Wilberforce Drive, George Street, Prospect Street and Brook Street, between 7.13am and 6.48pm.
On Saturdays, buses will operate from Priory Park between 7am and 6pm, and from the city centre between 7.13am and 6.13pm.
During peak times, buses will run every ten minutes.
Jon Donnelly, of Stagecoach, hopes the promise of a more comfortable journey will entice more passengers.
He said: "Hassle-free and now with complimentary wi-fi, we want to give people an easy start and finish to their day.
"Whether you're working, shopping or visiting Hull, the park and ride is the simple solution."
However, aside from the wi-fi and an improved waiting area complete with photographs of local landmarks, passengers are not likely to see a significant difference to the current service, with routes remaining the same.
Graham Hall, assistant head of transport at Hull City Council, said: "We are delighted Stagecoach East Midlands is taking on the park and ride service and we are confident they will deliver a quality service for passengers.
"A good public transport system is a priority for the council.
"It's great that the park and ride now links up with the wider set of local services operated by Stagecoach in the city."
Tickets will cost £2.50 for an adult city centre return or £1.50 for children. The fare to Hull Royal Infirmary will be £2 for an adult return and £1 for children.
Stagecoach's £3 Dayrider ticket, which entitles passengers to unlimited travel, and its £10 weekly Mega-rider will include the park and ride.
On Hull City and Hull FC matchdays at the KC Stadium, extra buses and a stadium stop will be provided.
A family ticket, catering for up to two adults and three children, will cost £6, an adult return will be £2.50, with children able to travel for £1.
Passengers who attend the launch of the new service at 7am on Monday will be given free croissants, tea, coffee and a copy of the Hull Daily Mail to read on the journey.
Additional services, yet to be revealed, will operate during Hull Fair, which starts on Friday, October 10.
The Park and Ride Hull buses will not enter Hull Paragon Interchange. For details, visit parkandridehull.com or call 01482 222333.
