Police are appealing for information after a man tried to rob a teenage girl in Hull.
A 17-year-old girl was walking along Innescourt, Orchard Park, when she heard footsteps behind her and turned around to see a stranger running towards her.
He allegedly grabbed her from behind, put a hand over her mouth and demanded money.
But when she said she had no money and screamed, the man ran off.
A police spokesman said: "The girl was not injured and nothing was stolen."
The suspect is described as a white man, in his early 20s, wearing a blue-silver hooded tracksuit jacket with black stripes, and black gloves on.
It happened between 11.10pm and 11.20pm on Saturday. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting log 751, of September 20, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
