A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after his brother was stabbed in the street.
Kane William Pidd, 23, of Grosvenor Street, city centre, has also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Kieron Pidd, 25, remains in Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham in a stable condition.
The alleged attack happened at about 4pm on Bank Holiday Monday on a on a grassed area in Tenterden Close.
Mr Pidd appeared at Hull Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded in custody. He will appear before Hull Crown Court on September 3.
