Hull FC hooker Aaron Heremaia will miss Sunday's visit to the Bradford Bulls after undergoing surgery on a torn meniscus.
The injury is identical to the one suffered by Jordan Rankin – who will return to the Black and Whites side after missing the win over St Helens a fortnight ago.
With the luxury of a full-strength squad to choose from otherwise, it is only Heremaia's problem which leaves Radford a number short – but he now has the conundrum of who to pick in the halves.
Youngster Jordan Abdull and the retiring Richard Horne took full control in the shock victory over Nathan Brown's table-toppers.
"Aaron's been sent in for a slight operation. He's going to miss this weekend's game but hopefully pushing for the Hull KR fixture," Radford said.
"It's a meniscus injury, the same one as Jordan Rankin had. Apart from that, everyone is fighting fit and ready.
"Jordan is available, we thought it was going to be a three-week rehab, but he's done really well and he's been out there training.
"With regards to selection, I said after the Saints game that we've got a two-week period to build up for the Bulls, and the way they trained and push themselves in training over the next few weeks was going to dictate where I go with the side.
"In the next fortnight moving forward we're going to play very few games, so it gives us the chance to pick a few blokes up. I've been really pleased with how they've trained.
"I've got 22 blokes to select from this weekend and at the moment, I'm debating which way to go with it."
