Kurtis Dulle says Rapid Solicitors Hull Stingrays are "like a second home" after penning a deal to return for the 2014-15 campaign.
The 34-year-old defenceman captained the side for three years from 2010-2013.
The Canadian said: "It's exciting to be coming back to the place I have always considered my second home. It's going to be an exciting season all round.
"The last season I played with the Stingrays was very rewarding and every season I have played for this team has brought lifelong memories and experiences I will never forget.
"So it is nice to be able to come back and be a part of it all once again."
