Hull court listings: Poundland theft, drink-driving on quad bike (August 9, 2014)

An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.

Craig Rodgers, 29, of Highgate Close, east Hull, received a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and was banned from driving for four years for drink-driving in Holderness Road, east Hull, on an off-road quad bike and driving while disqualified. He must pay £85 costs and an £80 surcharge.

Garry Brown, 57, of Ellesmere Avenue, east Hull, was fined £600 and had six points put on his licence for failing to identify to police a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence. He must pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.

Edvinas Kapocius, 27, of no fixed abode, was jailed for six weeks for stealing clothing from Viking FM's Cash For Kids charity.

Dawn Larkins, 48, of Haydock Garth, Bransholme, was fined £600 and had six points put on her licence for failing to identify to police a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence. She must pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.

Robina Bassett, 37, of Spring Bank West, west Hull, was discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £5 compensation for stealing make-up from Poundland. She must pay £45 costs and a £15 surcharge.

Nikolavs Platonovs, 42, of Boulevard, west Hull, was discharged conditionally for six months from stealing a £4 bottle of wine from Asda.

Keiron Pidd, 25, of Tenterden Close, Bransholme, was fined £140 and must attend 31 sessions of a Building Better Relationships course for breaching a non-molestation order. He must pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.

Carl Pinkney, 38, of Cookbury Close, Bransholme, must do 120 hours of unpaid work and had six points put on his licence for driving while disqualified. There was no separate penalty for driving without insurance. He must pay £85 costs and a £60 surcharge.

Henry Bennie, 51, of Sapperton Close, North Bransholme, was discharged conditionally for six months for being drunk and disorderly.
