Users of business social network LinkedIn are being warned of an email scam designed to harvest user login details.
Fraudsters are sending out scam emails claiming user accounts have been blocked due to inactivity. The message tells people to click a link to confirm their email address and restore access, but it then directs users to a fake website designed to look like the LinkedIn login page.
Action Fraud is advising anyone who receives the email to report it via their website, actionfraud.police.uk, which also includes an example of the email.
