A fire-breathing dragon and a man riding a hippopotamus were just some of the weird and wonderful sights hitting the streets of Beverley today.
It is the third day of the popular Puppet Festival, which has boasted sell-out shows and entertained children and adults alike since Friday at the Friary in Friars Lane and other venues.
The festival will end tonight with a Gothic performance of the Little Shop of Horrors.
