Hull FC will be without captain Gareth Ellis for Saturday's trip to Salford Red Devils.
Ellis drops out of Lee Radford's 19-man squad because ofh injury, thought to be a repeat of the back spasms suffered at Wakefield two weeks ago.
Ellis is joined on the sidelines of Chris Tuson (neck) and Richard Whiting, who is a surprise absentee given Hull have already lost two second rowers this week.
Jordan Rankin looks set to feature at the AJ Bell Stadium after returning from two weeks in Australia and the half-back is joined in the squad by Chris Green and Tom Lineham.
Green has returned from a one-month loan deal at Featherstone and is now eligible to play again, while Lineham is also in contention to play having been dropped for the loss to Warrington.
Hull FC: Abdull, Bowden, Green, Hadley, Heremaia, Horne, Houghton, Lancaster, Lineham, Paea, Paleaaesina, Rankin, Sa, Shaul, Talanoa, Thompson, Watts, Westerman, Yeaman
