Hull City's Jamie Devitt says he is moving to Grimsby Town on loan.
The deal is expected to be confirmed shortly.
Devitt, 22, said he was delighted to be returning to Blundell Park, where he enjoyed a successful spell in 2010.
The Irish winger has struggled to break into the Tigers' first-team squad. A loan spell at Rotherham earlier in the season was cut short by injury.
Meanwhile, striker Aaron Mclean has left the Tigers for Ipswich Town and Mark Cullen is being tipped to join Stevenage.
