A SENIOR police officer today made a fresh appeal for help tracking down whoever is responsible for two arson attacks on the same home over the New Year period.
Petrol bombs were thrown into a property in Grove Street, off Hull's Beverley Road, on two separate occasions.
People were in the house when both attacks occurred and DCI Simon Walker is now urging any people with information to come forward.
"We want to hear from people who know of anyone who may have had a motive to carry out these devastating attacks on this house," he said.
"We believe the attacks are connected and we are using CCTV footage to try and trace a male suspect who was seen running from the home."
The first attack happened at around 1.30am on New Year's Eve and the second at 8.25am on New Year's Day.
No-one was injured in either attacks and a 42-year-old man was arrested in connection with the first attack but has since been released on bail.
Anyone with information should call Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101.
