A road roller worth £20,000 has been stolen from a construction site at Haltemprice Leisure Centre, Anlaby.
The yellow Bomag 100 AD4 was taken from the Springfield Way site between 5pm on June 18 and 7am the following day.
PC Andy White, neighbourhood officer for the area, said: "Whoever took this must have used a low-loader to remove it.
"We are checking CCTV from the area but are appealing for anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact us."
