An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Graham Walker, 48, of Cadogan Avenue, west Hull, was fined £270, must pay £300 compensation, and had six points put on his licence for driving without due care and attention, driving without insurance and failing to stop after an accident in which damage was caused to another vehicle. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Darron Donkin, 40, of 5th Avenue, North Hull, received an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and was banned from driving for three years for drink-driving. Donkin had 122 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath – almost 3.5 times the legal limit. He will be supervised for 12 months and must undergo six months of treatment for alcohol dependency. Donkin must pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.Samantha Windass, 31, of Royston Grove, east Hull, was fined £70 for possessing cannabis and £35 for failing to surrender to custody. She must pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Shaun Flintoft, 41, of Newlyn Close, Bransholme, was jailed for 30 weeks for stealing £190 of alcohol from Asda, stealing £142 of alcohol from the same store the following day, and driving while disqualified.Marcin Bialon, 23, of Shirley Avenue, Perth Street West, west Hull, was fined £135 and had three points put on his driving licence for using a handheld mobile phone while driving. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Richard Carroll, 30, of Claremont Avenue, Beverley Road, west Hull, was fined £135 for not wearing a seat belt while driving. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 surcharge.Timothy Coles, 48, of Kings Square, Beverley, was fined £135 and had three points put on his driving licence for using a handheld mobile phone while driving. He must pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Ryan David, 28, of Fort Terrace, Bridlington, was fined £400 and had six points put on his licence for failing to identify to police a driver who was alleged to have committed an offence.
