HULL KR star Neville Costigan could miss Thursday's visit of Huddersfield Giants after being charged with a Grade A striking offence during the 44-18 win at Bradford.
Tempers flared as both sides packed down for a scrum during the 18th minute of the match at Odsal, with Bulls player-coach Matt Diskin also dealt with the same charge following his retaliation.
A somewhat unprovoked challenge could hand Costigan a suspension, which would be a bitter blow to KR following his astute performances since arriving from Newcastle Knights in the off-season.
Costigan is eligible to submit an early guilty plea by 11am on Tuesday morning, but could still sit out the Giants clash as he struggles to overcome a niggling knee problem sustained in the rout of the Bulls.
