A funeral service will be held this week for a soldier who died at an Army training centre.
Sergeant Mark Foley, 31, who was originally from Bransholme, and was a member of The Light Dragoons, was killed at the centre in Cumbria on June 4.
Sgt Foley died in a military vehicle while training on Warcop training area, near Appleby. He had recently come back from Afghanistan.
He lived in Norfolk with his wife, Kelly, and their two children, Emily, eight, and Hannah, seven.
A funeral service will take place at St James's Church in Sutton from 12.30pm on Wednesday, followed by committal at the Chanterlands crematorium at 2.30pm.
An announcement placed in the Mail describes him as a "much-loved husband, loving and devoted dad and loving son".
After his death, his sister Amie said: "He made a small family massive with the amount of love that he gave. He was born to serve his country and make Hull proud. Hull was a massive part of him."
Mr Foley was an avid Hull FC fan.After this death, James Clark, Hull FC's head of communications, media and marketing, said he had become a close friend.
"Everyone at the club has been devastated by the news of the passing of Sgt Foley, who had become a close friend of ours through his support of our Armed Forces events and our first-team training camps with the Light Dragoons in pre-season," he said.
