Up to 70 jobs could be created after a nutrition specialist in Bridlington sealed £15m worth of contracts.
Bee Health, based in Carnaby Industrial Estate, has already seen its workforce increase by 60 in the last few months by securing contracts after impressing customers with its range of products including capsules, creams, liquids and tablets.
The contracts are made up of £7m for tablet manufacture that is currently underway and a further £8m of tablet and soft gel production set to start shortly.
The majority of the orders are coming from UK health food chain Holland & Barrett.
Bee Health managing director Steve Ryan said: "These recent wins will account for 70 per cent of our predicted turnover and has already seen the workforce increase by 60 to 130 with the potential of a further 70 by the end of the year.
"Although we manufacture our own brand products, pretty much all of the new contracts will be completed under license to other global customers who had been manufacturing in low cost countries."
Bee Health has been working with the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) over the last three years, accessing support and funding towards management training and implementing a new IT system.
The MAS has been working with UKTI in a project called ReshoreUK, which is designed to bring back production to the UK.
As part of reshoring - bringing back production to the UK - the contracts secured by Bee Health had previously been held by companies in countries including China, India and the US.
Mr Ryan said: "MAS has modernised the way we operate and this has made us more competitive and in a better position to win reshoring work."
