A man has appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court charged with attempting to rob a student while he was taking photographs for a university project.
Jae McManus, 22, was arrested after an appeal in the latest edition of the Mail's Caught on Camera feature.
He did not enter a plea to the charge and will appear at Hull Crown Court next week.
