Hull City will return home this afternoon to a heroes' welcome after being pipped by Arsenal in an epic FA Cup final at Wembley on Saturday.
After coming so close to pulling off one of the biggest shocks in cup final history, the Tigers are due to arrive back at Paragon train station shortly before 3.30pm, when the team are expected to be met by proud supporters.
The Hull City Special leaves London Kings Cross at 12.48pm and is due to arrive at Paragon Station at 3.26pm.
The players and members of their families stayed overnight in the capital to recharge their batteries after a physically and mentally draining extra-time defeat.
Having taken a 2-0 lead after just eight minutes through goals from James Chester and Curtis Davies, East Yorkshire held its breath as the Tigers led the Gunners for the best part of 70 minutes. Laurent Koscielny scrambled home Arsenal's equaliser with 20 minutes remaining, before Aaron Ramsey struck deep in extra-time to break City hearts.
Hull City Special is out of Kings X at 1248 and into Paragon at 1526. Live coverage with me and @mattdeanradio@RadioHumberside at 3.
