An update of people convicted and sentenced in the courts in Hull and the East Riding.Craig MacDonald, 28, of Westgate, Bridlington, was fined £37 for using threatening or abusive behaviour and failing to surrender to custody while subject to a 12-month conditional discharge. He was also ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.Phillip Baker, 46, of Lomond Road, west Hull, was disqualified from driving for 15 months and fined £190 for driving while over the drink-drive limit. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Christopher Robinson, 34, of England Road, Bilton, was disqualified for driving from 23 months and ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work for driving while over the drink-drive limit. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Terry Lyons, 25, of Middleton Street, west Hull, was given a 12 month conditional discharge for damaging a brick wall, worth £600, belonging to Brian Attwood. She was also ordered to pay £500 compensation and a £15 victim surcharge.Peteris Markovs, 59, of no fixed address, was fined £55 for drunk and disorderly behaviour in a public place. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.Jason McMurray, 34, of Hobart Street, west Hull, was ordered to do 120 hours unpaid work for possessing a scalpel without good reason in a public place and for being in possession of cannabis and diazepam. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.Frank Thompson, 43, of Coltman Street, west Hull, was given a 28-day prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for stealing two Gillette Fusion Gift Sets from Home Bargains and a remote control toy car, worth £199, from Store Twenty One. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs.Glenn Troupe, 44, of Newland Avenue, west Hull, was given a 12 month conditional discharge, for stealing two joints of beef and two joints of lamb, worth £31, from Sainsbury's and for being in possession of cannabis and 53 diazepam tablets. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
