EAST HULL: Hundreds of residents have been asked to complete antisocial behaviour questionnaires.

Officers from Humberside Police and Hull City Council's antisocial behaviour team have visited 144 properties in Valiant Drive after receiving complaints from residents.

Almost 30 residents have completed the questionnaires so far.

Officers have made tackling the problems in Valiant Drive – which include drug dealing, fighting and loud music being played – their priority for the area.

A spokesman for the Longhill neighbourhood policing team said: "A newsletter was produced by the neighbourhood nuisance team and distributed to all residents in the flats, advising them of the continuing efforts by partners to deal with the problems.

"Investigations have continued to collect additional evidence, including reviewing CCTV footage to identify persons involved in antisocial behaviour and criminal activities in the Valiant Drive area.

"A number of issues have been dealt with in the flats, including intimidation, fighting and shouting and screaming on the stairways.

"There have also been a large number of noise complaints and several arrests have been made related to drugs.

"Officers will continue to conduct high visibility patrols in the area."
