MATTY Fryatt has been recalled by Hull City from his loan spell at Sheffield Wednesday.
Fryatt had scored four goals in seven starts for the Owls, but has now been recalled following the sacking of Dave Jones as manager.
Tigers boss Steve Bruce had previously hinted that he would recall the 27-year-old, who has used the spell at Hillsborough to regain match fitness following his return from an Achilles injury.
Although he is not expected to come into the reckoning for tomorrow night's clash at Arsenal, Fryatt will have his fitness assessed in training this week.
With a hectic December schedule lined up, the Tigers could hand him chance to make his Premier League debut if any injuries do strike.
